Kieran Trippier is off to Napoli, imminent news to be reported!

1.) 22 May 2019 16:16:15
As well as massive imminent signing nathan ake in January 😂🤣😂.

2.) 29 May 2019 07:41:10
I can’t see him going to Italy. Especially if they’ve watched him of late. Be lucky if Southend wanted him.

17 Dec 2018 14:41:33

Spurs have agreed a fee with Bournemouth for Nathan Ake and are discussing personal terms.

1.) 18 Dec 2018 17:40:44
Why would we want him?

2.) 18 Dec 2018 23:28:42
Because Toby is being courted by the Manchester Mafia and Barcelona Massive!

3.) 19 Dec 2018 07:37:31
Nathan Ake isn't fit to lace Tobys boots. If he does go we need De Ligt or someone of a much higher level than Ake. He would arguably be 4th choice in my opinion.

4.) 19 Dec 2018 09:13:55
God save us if it's Ake.

5.) 19 Dec 2018 13:05:27
If we want Poch to leave and join yeenited, then sign Nathan Ake!

20 Oct 2018 09:26:23
Spurs will sign Wilmar Barrios who will join the team in January to replace the departing Wanyama and Dembele if suitors can be found. Dembele is cricked with his recurring knee problems albeit my favourite player by a mile, and Wanyama isn't the force we need.

1.) 20 Oct 2018 20:01:36
All over twitter mate BUT i'll believe it when I see him holding up the shirt.

16 Jan 2018 07:52:08
It seems this window is dead as the scouting team are focussing on younger prospects.

Malcom is the only focus and a potential target, but others are interested and the price is looking prohibitive.

Brereton of Nottingham Forest is a genuine target as future backup for Kane. Potential with a loan back deal, but hardly going to help our charge on three fronts.

Maxwell Cornet of Lyon is a prospect for the future. Offers pace and attacking flair across the forward line, but with Eriksen, Son, Dele Alli, Lamela he is unlikely to get many opportunities.

Our ambition is TOP 4, we are in the Champions League and FA Cup. Sadly Levy wants to invest like a mid table team and this needs to change fast.

1.) 16 Jan 2018 18:57:22
Maxwell is not coming to us Oracle.

2.) 16 Jan 2018 18:57:57
Or Malcom.

3.) 16 Jan 2018 21:42:32
My point is even if they did, they are not the level required to win silverware. One or two of them could sign but they are prospect for the future as much as Winks, Edwards, Carter-Vickers and others already at the Club.

10 Jan 2018 22:56:14
Barkley lost, Zaha priced out, the window starting to look very quiet. Any news you can share as I have heard that Rose is even staying.

1.) 11 Jan 2018 12:55:55
Rose will leave, when a replacement is lined up ie Sessegnon.

2.) 11 Jan 2018 17:20:29
I thought Manchester United had lost interest in Rose. However as we know anything can happen in football.

Would we all be happy with No signings this window.?
Personally I feel we need to add. And add class.

3.) 11 Jan 2018 23:55:58
We need Andre Schurle, Zaha and Mousa Dembele. About as likely as Bale, Sanchez and Messi signing.

We be or two surprise additions must be lined up, as all those we were prioritising seem lost.

Firstly let us all smile after Missiom Imoossible in the Champions League. Funny how Arsenal, Chelsea and West Ham supporters are now looking stupid after mocking us so much.

Here we are sitting 3rd in The Premiership and now in the final 16 of the Champions League. We have a foundation to dream about a real challenge for the title and dare I even mention winnjng the Champions League. Most will laugh and tell you Manchester City are already home and dry and have too many superstars in every position to possibly drop points and all I will say is 'Leicester City' did it. Most will say Bayern Munich, Man City, Barcelona and Real Madrid are too powerful and we have no chance in the Champions League, but all I will say is remember Liverpool won it in similar circumstances.

What are the foundations missing and can we pull off the impossible in January now we have massive revenues guaranteed from the Champions League.

GK - We probably have the best combination of keepers in the Premiership. Lloris, Gazziniga and Vorm is about as good as it gets.

LB - Rose looked back to his very best against Barcelona and Davies offers a reliable coverage. I would love to see Ryan Sessegnon coming to Spurs and seek Davies. This way Rose and Sessegnon can fight for places if we are to think of the next level.

CB - Alderweireld and Vertonghen offer the best partnership in the league. Add Sanchez and Foyth who is improving and we have a perfect balance. Even Carter Vickers looked half decent on loan and will be improving around world class players like Toby. Nothing needed apart from a new contract signed for Toby.

RB - Trippier was England's best player and Aurier needs a little longer. Walker-Peters has a nightmare at Barcelona. It looks one for the future. I feel we need a world class player like Valencia in this position to challenge Trippier and let Aurier probably go in the summer if things don't work out too well.

CM - Major issues here with the amazing and mercurial Dembele looking to be too injury prone for a top side. Sissoko has really improved in this deeper position and dare I say is looking almost Viera like in his latest performances. I believe his form will be short lived and do not see the atteibutes of a world class player. Youri Tielemans is the player we need and with his club needing money it might be the perfect time to strike with a £35-40m offer. Harry Winks looks average to me regardless of the hype I hear from others.

CDM -Wanyama looked great before his injury. Dier is a solid classy option but perhaps with Tielemans alongside it might be too defensive. I believe Rabiot is the man we should buy as PSG have other plans seemingly without this superstar. £45m well spent in my opinion and alongside Youri Tielemans it could be sensational. Sissoko and Winks would provide good cover and Dembele and Wanyama once fit moved in before their injuries become deal breakers.

LAM - Son looks world class and should be an auto selection. His goals and assists ratio is sensational. If we acquired Sessegnon as above then we would have cover as Ryan could player higher up in this role or Moura, Lamela, Eriksen and even Alli can play anywhere across the line.

CAM - Eriksen is the fulcrum to the team. Sensestinal and dimly world class. His brain unlocks the opposition and must be first choice. Alli for me is second fiddle to Christian Eriksen and must be used as back up for the king.

RAM - Lucas Moura has come alive this season. World class player who will be sensational in the future. Time to make him first choice at RAM with Lanela as his back up.

CF - Kane is simply outstanding but we need something more to back him up. Llorente need to be sold along with Janssen as soon as he is fit. We would be better with Defoe in the bench than some of the names being linked. It is time to buy Arnautovic who has always been class and would give you real confidence he could change a game if introduced alongside Kane.

Dreams have to be big if we want to win something. Davies, Dembele, Wanyama, Llorente and Janssen to leave. Sessegnon, Rabiot, Tielemans and Arnautovic to make the dream a reality.

One thing is certain we are not dreaming about being alive in the CL and Premiership. The question one needs to consider is whether we have the appetite to invest and challenge for glory.

January will be our finest hour. Big money is available and I for one am beginning to believe the dream.

1.) 13 Dec 2018 17:12:10
Fantastic post oracle the raver really enjoyed reading that mate, do you remember when wodbod said spurs are the biggest joke in the champions league and was laughing that we have failed to get out of the group 😃😃 he’s now turned into paul Daniels again and has failed to show his mug on these pages after spurs qualified for the last 16 as the great Paul would say that's MAGIC.

2.) 13 Dec 2018 18:03:13
Love you Raver and COYS we are nearing glory days again after a long sleep.

20 Jul 2018 18:08:53
I have supported Spurs for 35 years, and have to say that Levy has done a fantastic job for our beloved club.

For years we languished in the bottom half and mid table at best. The dreams of Thursday night football were real, and the prospect of a European tour simply amazing.

Today we look forward to quite simply the best stadium in the Premiership by a mile. Arguably the best training facilities in the league, and a financially sound business. Then add the consolidated Top 4 positioning, the fact that even Arsenal fans will admit we have finally surpassed them, and some of the best players in the world in Lloris, Trippier, Alderweireld, Vertonghan, Sanchez, Dembele, Dier, Erisken, Son and Kane.

So why are we all crying and getting so frustrated. It is simple for fans to see the solution. Sell a few players like Vorm, Rose, Sissoko, N'Koudou, Llorente and Janssen, and sell Dembele if the rumour regarding his knees is true and Alderweireld if he isn't committed to the club. Then go and buy some replacements.

When we look at the squad obvious replacements could include Butland, Sessegnon, Maguire, Kovacic and Martial. Surely not hard to get them for a club almost guaranteed Top 4, in the Champions League, has greater wages potential with he new stadium and sponsorship deals and is a genuine title challenger with 4 or 5 top quality additions.

My question is why are Spurs not looking at wider options for those reaching end of contract stages to pad the squad.

Herrera AM - 1 Year left Only 28
Luke Shaw RB - 1 Year left Only 23
Max Meyer CM - No Contract Only 22
Bernard LAM - No Contract Only 25
Diego Reyes CB - No Contract Only 25 (Guided Porto to Champions conceding only 6 goals)

Lets hope the window sets on fire for Spurs, but with Grealish looking the only signing nearing fruition, it doesn't bode well!

Come on Levy give us a big 3 names to make us feel we are serious!

1.) 20 Jul 2018 18:59:16
Not one Arsenal fan would say spurs have surpassed them. you have not won anything, when Arsenal finished above Man United for a couple of seasons and Arsenal actually won trophies in that period did you hear Arsenal fans say they have surpassed Man United?

2.) 20 Jul 2018 19:00:26
When you have won 9 more league titles more fa cups then Arsenal fans would say they have surpassed us, decades away.

3.) 20 Jul 2018 23:02:14
Trigger happy again oddblod.

Anyway to the rest of the genuine spurs fans. COUMFS. in Ibiza living it Raver style.

4.) 21 Jul 2018 00:14:12
Top man north I hope you’ve got your white gloves and whistle.

5.) 23 Jul 2018 10:59:42
Training facilities are not a patch on Man City and how can you claim that the new stadium is going to be the best? It won't be the biggest and it certainly won't be the loudest, what is it best at?

28 Jan 2018 11:21:10
Silverware is long overdue, and we sit in a fantastic position to win some. The FA Cup is a real possibility, and the Champions League is unlikely but might look possible if we beat Juventus. The Top 4 is certainly a real possibility on top, and yet here we stand with the perfect chance to make a proper challenge and seem reluctant to seize the opportunity.

I accept we have a new stadium to find, but surely winning the FA Cup would make the Spurs new museum a much more attractive place to visit. Just imagine for one second if we won the Champions League, the museam would become a shrine. The revenue from such a possibility are astronomical not to mention the televised rights and success in the competitions.

The question I propose is merely hypothetical, but just stop and ask if we signed 4 players like Malcom, Moura, Dembele and Sessegnon. Would it be impossible to make that challenge, ignoring the point that Poch made about playing in a new club with new ideologies and structures. Great players normally adapt quickly, and I am certain at least two of these of those players will become world class.

We could sell Janssen, Llorente, CCV and really push to sign these stars. Surely if there was ever a January window to really push for glory then it is now. The worst case is it miserably fails and we finish 6th and win nothing. At least we have the squad ready for the summer and can start building 6 months earlier.

1.) 28 Jan 2018 20:01:59
We won't be winning nothing as we will have to face city or Utd in the later rounds and then its the usual bye bye spurs. The new stadium is nothing but a cover up to hide spurs failure's, 27 years since we won any top silverware, very poor in the transfer market and won't pay top dollar for top players, crap managers hired on a regular basis, selling our top players everytime that's what's been happening for many of years. I can guarantee you in 3 years time we will be having the same conversation when we're still waiting to win something and the likes of Kane, Ali, Eriksson will be waring Barcelona and Madrid shirts and we will have another nobody as manager.

2.) 28 Jan 2018 20:18:00
Well said Raver.

3.) 28 Jan 2018 21:14:15
and that numpty Alan Sugar has a lot to answer for Raver. years and years of meddling with the team, purchasing cr@p players and managers.

4.) 28 Jan 2018 22:32:20
If winning the Fa cup or the other mickey mouse cup The Carabao is soo important or prestigious then why are Arsenal fans in total meltdown all the time? Surely they should be content.

5.) 28 Jan 2018 23:35:34
Like I always say to you, why do you change everything to Arsenal?

Goes to show you know nothing about football.

Your team wins nothing, even Raver admits that, but you moan about Arsenal, who at least win things.

At least try to pretend you know something about football.

6.) 28 Jan 2018 23:36:51
And Ellis, you, and only you, are the only person who says Arsenal are in meltdown.

7.) 29 Jan 2018 00:30:12
Hahaha typical gooner. Your lot moan like no other fans, total meltdowns all the time Wenger out blah blah blah but when someone says it to you, you deny it. You sound like Oddbod now, in total denial. Millions of fans rip it out of Arsenal, you can't be that deluded.

8.) 29 Jan 2018 02:48:36
Dags you do talk a lot of sense. Wasted on here. Lol.

9.) 29 Jan 2018 07:50:27
Steve, I know.

I just don't understand why Ellis turns every Spurs post into an Arsenal post.

It amazes me.

10.) 29 Jan 2018 08:13:16
that's not exactly true Dags, I've been saying for long enough that your teams in melt down 😉 and this summer will prove it one way or another.

I worry that your relying on our Ravers posts as an example.

11.) 29 Jan 2018 08:48:28
NES, I merely stated that I agree with what Raver said.

12.) 29 Jan 2018 13:04:46
I find it strange to say Arsenal are in melt down, . Whilst they've won the FA Cup back to back. They're not firing on all cylinders and haven't been for a while. We are playing probably the best football in years and won F'ALL.

I'd be happy with an FA Cup win this year wouldn't you.

13.) 29 Jan 2018 13:13:07
DR wow a spud that actually talks sense. Lol.

14.) 29 Jan 2018 14:09:50
Yes DR we all stand corrected, Arsenal are currently a major force in Europe, the Premier League and Champions League. They are currently have one of the best EVER teams I can remember. Do you think that is what their fans believe?

They are a cup team, as recent years have proven, the Spurs of the 80's and 90's relying on cup runs and no serious challenge to a title.

None of the other top 5 teams look at the Gooners as a serious challenge to the league. yes they have the odd game where they play well and win but sustained over a season. blah blah blah. cods wallop

Look at their Banter site, the fans are all in turmoil, even posting that this transfer window has been a success? after loosing a 'world class' player in Sanchez! REALLY! TALK ABOUT BLINDED LOVE AND REALITY. only from a gooner.

Steve, yet another that posts a load of gobble de gook. 'LOL' (Oddbod style) typical blinkers.

Dags comes and goes with the odd (bod) post. but really deep down accepts the transition needed is deep and major and its going to take:

1, a lot of money; salaries, transfers and players in/ out
2, a lot of time

The reality is that the Gooners need major surgery, MAJOR and whilst they are resolving their current situation everyone else (top 5) will be pushing on even further. 5 steps back courtesy of our mate Mr Wenger. thank you very much. please stay a little longer.

And that transition can only commence when Mr Wenger goes or they offer him yet another contract. and wall paper over the cracks.

so yes DR I stand by my initial diagnosis 'Meltdown' major surgery / transplant required.

15.) 29 Jan 2018 14:39:24
One only has to read your own posts on your own pages on this site to know what I say is correct.

Even footballers eg Bolaise of Everton has tweeted 'Arsenal fan tv time' when Arsenal lose. You're a laughing stock. Like I said if the fa cup is soo good then why all the meltdowns, mianing, whingeing?

Dr, you can find it as strange as you want, I really couldn't give a flying

16.) 29 Jan 2018 14:51:04
NES, I say it as it see it. I don't look at their banter site, because I'm really not that interested if I'm honest, In football some people know what there talking about. Some don't.

Football you are judged on winning trophies. Not how good you look on the pitch.
We have won nothing. FACT and if this carries on our bigger players will be leaving you mark my works mate.

Our team won't go down in History will they. FACT - Or are they giving trophies for nearly winning. NO.

If your classing a blip in 20 years of not qualifying for the CL as melt down. Well. You crack on fella, If the sign Aubameyang and add anyone else they could be in with a shout of top 4, Win the league cup, or have you forgot their in the final of that. (Hardly a club in meltdown) Or shall we say it's a shi* cup because we didn't make the final.

So how on earth we can be critical of Arsenal when we've won F'ALL is beyond me.

17.) 29 Jan 2018 14:57:07
Ellis - I also couldn't give a monkies toss what you state. FACT is FACT

They've won trophies we haven't. f**king simple. Even a so called Hedge Fund broker should be able to grasp that.

18.) 29 Jan 2018 15:24:18
DR you have my respect for being truthful and not bowing to fools. You talk sense. Respect.

19.) 29 Jan 2018 17:21:06
so on your analysis DR no clubs fans in the world have a clue except; Madrid, Barca, Man U, Chelsea and Munich.

And just for the record, I've probably p1ssed on better pitches than you've played on. and more trophies than all you gooks and DR has ever won.

ps you refer to 1 year in 20 not qualifying for the CL? then contradict that by saying you get nothing for 2nd place. Really.

And he fact you have that clown Steve's respect just sums it up.

20.) 29 Jan 2018 17:36:18
DR's post was merely stating that Ellis calls every competition "Mickey Mouse", just because Spurs are not in it, so can't win it.

Also, he stated that how can Ellis possibly keep taking the Mickey out of Arsenal for being "Nobodies", when we have won 3 trophies in 4 years, compared to Spurs zero trophies.

The man talks sense.

21.) 29 Jan 2018 17:43:30
Where do you get that from NES? No clubs apart from Barcelona etc etc. What are you talking about. Perhaps it’s just you that doesn’t have a clue

You said Arsenal are in meltdown I clearly pointed out they’re not, just not firing on all cylinders and what the f@@k pissing on pitches has got to do with it, you’ve been on crack the weekend, if you haven’t you f@@king should be

Infact read the post properly. If I need to explain that post perhaps go back to school and piss on a few more pitches

Talk from a football perspective. Not just rubbish.

22.) 29 Jan 2018 18:02:21
DR read you own post. and in specific the final sentence.

speaking of crack, crack on.

23.) 29 Jan 2018 18:24:47
So i'm making up all the Arsenal fans constantly moaning like little girls Wenger this Wenger that, Kroenke out blah vlah blah. All I hear is Arsenal fans moaning. Dr I think you need to get out more fella, your medication ain't working my son.

I honestly couldn't give a hoot about the fa cup. Yes I would take it but it means nothing nowadays. Teams put out weakened teams and there is no wow factor in winning it, if tgere wad Arsenal would be respected for winning it and they aint.

I would rather qualify for the Champions League than win that.

Enjoy your pension.

24.) 29 Jan 2018 19:19:06
And once you qualify for CL and than get knocked out, are you going to say its a Mickey Mouse Cup?

25.) 29 Jan 2018 19:42:22
at least we give it ago DG. fail maybe, but at least try.

but hey, you can always state the FACT that you've only missed out once in 20 years. and failed every single time.

26.) 29 Jan 2018 20:49:22
We haven't been knocked out yet. The Champions League and the Prem is why the fa cup isn't as important nowadays.

03 Jun 2017 13:55:11
Gunnerbod and other Arsenal supporters, how about answering these 4 questions:

1. Do you believe your squad is as strong as Spurs?

2. Apart from the brilliant Sanchez, are there any players in the entire Arsenal squad who you would pick over Spurs players?

3. Do you think you will keep Sanchez?

4. Who are your top 3 players you believe you can sign?

1.) 03 Jun 2017 14:26:49
1) Yes.

2) Kos and Ozil and Cazorla if fit.

3) No. Unless we show early intentions in transfer market.

4) Lacazette (hopefully) . If we get him that will make a massive difference.

PS. You have a good squad, but are too heavily reliant of Kane and Alli. Both World Class btw.

2.) 03 Jun 2017 14:48:23
Oracle my Churchill dog will answer those 4 questions for you, no no no no.

3.) 03 Jun 2017 15:04:43
Spurs won nothing this season.
Arsenal won FA CUP.

Yes, yes, yes Raver.

4.) 03 Jun 2017 19:32:04
Sounds like you are having sex with the raver dags lol.

5.) 03 Jun 2017 20:13:24
I will do anything for a bag of your magic mushrooms 😂.

6.) 04 Jun 2017 10:50:45
1. Yes
3. Yes
3. Maybe
4. World class signings.

28 Oct 2016 13:52:23
Aguero and Kompany are simply irresistible and world class players. Man City seen open to losing the backbone to their team which seems bizarre. Hart, Kompany, Yaya Toure and Aguero all seem surplus.

Whilst we have better players than Yaya Toure and Hart, surely Aguero and Kompany are the ingredients required to compete at the very top.

Harry Kane is an amazing player and an asset to any side, but surely a Pep Guardiola would be interested if we offered him for these two stars.

Kane is undoubtedly world class himself, but surely even the most loyal fans can see Aguero is something of a rare breed. The timing is perfect and Pep would jump at Kane as he fits his team and dynamic.

GK Lloris, LB Vertonghen, CB Kompany, CB Alderweireld, RB Walker, CDM Wanyama, CM Dembele, LM Son CAM Dele Alli, RM Eriksen and CF Aguero.

Bench: Vorm, Rose, Wimmer, Dier, Sissoko, Lamela and Jaansen.

This side would challenge the Premiership title and stand a chance in the Champions League.

1.) 28 Oct 2016 14:56:21
That side would be the best in the world, I also agree with you that I would swap Kane for aguero and kompany as well. I think aguero is one of the world's top strikers and city are mad to part company with him.

2.) 28 Oct 2016 14:59:30
Have you been partying with the raver?

Kompany is past his best by date.

Aguero is world class . but I fear our inability to break down defenses would leave him short of goal scoring opportunities also.

And it ain't going to happen anyways - Kane is the future and wants to stay . so why chase the short term?

3.) 28 Oct 2016 16:14:08
Haha might aswell just get Aguero. Imagine Kompany with our track record of injuries. I would rather have Yaya but this is nonsense really. We ain't going to pay their wages for starters unless we give them a massive signing on fee. Getting Kompany wouldn't exactly make Wimmer and Carter-Vickers feel good would it? Pure fantasy.

4.) 28 Oct 2016 16:58:02
At least it gives Oracle something to predict every transfer window until it doesn't happen.

5.) 30 Oct 2016 23:57:59

The transfer option for Toby Alderweireld closes tomrrow. I doubt anyone thought he would be staying with a measly £25m buy out clause. So if Tony is staying things are a little different.

Sessegnon remains a key focus and offloading Eriksen who has pissed of Pochettino is the biggest dilemma. Perhaps a swap with Dybala isn’t a disaster after all. He can play behind Kane at CAM if Eriksen goes and so can Kane for that matter if Dybala is seen as a better option up front. So not a crazy swap.

Very risky but they seem confident we will sign Sessegnjn for Rose, To y leaving might leave it open for Ake and Trippuer is no better than Aurier, KWP or Foyth in that position.
