3 points that's all that mattered today after another poor performance, we need a massive overhaul in the summer with many players who can leave along with the manager, we will get 4th and the fans will be in heaven unlike the raver. Mind you I'm in heaven tonight flying like a plane with plenty of booze and birds to cheer this poor spurs fan up 😎.

the raver

1.) 05 Oct 2019 23:25:29
No what you need is rid of levy all the players wanted out because of the ridiculously low wages and not spending any money on players. He is the reasons the players are in unrest.

Poch May well get sacked and he has the players who can’t be arsed because they want out and levy to blame.

2.) 08 Oct 2019 17:31:12
Most of these players are on a lot more money than their previous clubs.

3.) 19 Oct 2019 20:55:57
All teams hit bad patches but when a side that has been pretty consistent suddenly can't put two decent performances and results together over a prolonged period something is wrong somewhere.
I thought last season was just a world cup hangover and you'd bounce this season but that looks more and more unlikely each and every week now.

4.) 11 Nov 2019 13:13:12
Dude this bad patch has been for a year!
Reaching the UCL just papered over the massive cracks,

There is something massively wrong in the club.
Maybe it needed to rebuild and start again.
The team has been punching way above its weight for years and now they have been found out.

18 Sep 2019 21:32:54
Pathetic but dosent surprise me anymore with pochetinho, 2 nil up against Arsenal and drew, and the same tonight against a pathetic Creek side. I think he should leave as he never wins the important matches year in year out, he's a decent manager nothing else and its about time fans woke up and realised, I'm off to get smashed on Heineken and Amsterdam reefers to brighten up the raver night.

the raver

1.) 20 Sep 2019 10:05:57
The new arsene wenger.

2.) 20 Sep 2019 15:48:53
Arsene Wenger went downhill after winning trophies.

3.) 21 Sep 2019 14:49:22
Why do you constantly go on oddbod you post more on here than any spurs fan and hardly post anything on arsenal page
I think your a closet spurs fan you just don't want daddy to find out.

29 Jul 2019 08:18:32
Only 2 weeks to go till kick off and I think we are dragging our feet yet again under levy, I feel we need another 3 world class players for us to take the next step otherwise it will be another 4th place scrap for us again.

the raver

1.) 29 Jul 2019 11:00:38
agree raver, can't understand why we take so long to get transfers done, its doing my head in.

2.) 29 Jul 2019 18:37:09
Raver, how can you say you will scrap for 4th place again because you are dragging your feet in the transfer market? when you brought Ndombele you were saying "we will be challenging again mark my word" 😂🤣😂.

3.) 29 Jul 2019 20:18:24
I am sick to death of us leaving transfers until the 11th hour and then missing out. It stinks of Levy penny pinching again, even if we get Lo Celso he won't be ready for the 1st few games as he will need time to settle in.
Currently from our tiny squad from last year we have got rid of many more than we have added and the contract situation of the ones we have are nearly terminal in some cases, why leave it to drag so long. If they are showing no signs of extending contracts just move them on for the best price you can actually get and stop pissing about for the sake of a few mil and get the players you actually know are available and you want, is it really that complicated?
Im guessing Levy is now planning on signing Sessegnon in jan on a tribunal to save another few mil, risky business!

{Ed002's Note - Embarrassing.}

4.) 29 Jul 2019 20:41:20
Wodbod you should know me by now mate, the raver is more up and down than a 13th floor elevator.

5.) 29 Jul 2019 21:28:18
Mwheels, that sort of post really pisses me off. It's incredibly hard to do transfers. It's much more complex than you think.

There are lots of factors. Just because you see another club sign someone you have no idea how long it took, if they got turned down by other players before they got the player that signed etc etc. You talk about millions of pounds like its nothing lmao.

Levy will wait until he drives down Betis and Fulham for Lo Celso and Sessegnon, that's how it works.

Look at Utd with Maguire. Yes it's frustrating to wait but Levy is looking after our club. Yes Levy has made some mistakes but in the most he has been superb for our club.

6.) 29 Jul 2019 22:21:35
Yes I get all that Guvnor, but why do we always continue to turn the screw for so long? I am glad we have a solid base and are a properly run club, for which Levy is to be congratulated, but haggling over a couple of mil until the 11th hour when you are talking about a 50 mil plus player makes me think he isn't that interested in the player and will end up with the usual club statement come the 9th, we tried our best but it wasnt possible etc.
On the other hand if we do get it over the line it will have been so dragged out that he probably won't be ready for selection until september. I just would have loved a year where we buy whoever our genuine realistic targets are early in the window so they can prepare and be ready for gameweek one, not gameweek 4. Perhaps I live in a fantasy world!

7.) 29 Jul 2019 22:52:07
Since when have we ever released a statement saying we tried? I've said it on here countless times, we have no idea exactly what goes on in the background. We don't know every player we have tried for or what's happened. Yes I get some info but in the most we are all in the dark over 99 percent of what goes on. We ain't the only club trying to get players, like I said look at Utd with Maguire. Your comment about the millions is ridiculous.

8.) 01 Aug 2019 13:07:39
Its such an embarrassment - levy out

By now we should have paid at least double the players value and at least 3 times the going rate of wages (ensuring it is more than what we pay kane) . Just to ensure they are ready for villa

or is that sarcasm talking.

12 Jul 2019 21:31:19
Terrible news that spurs are parting company with one of the best defenders in the league in Toby alderwereld, yes his contract rubs out next season but would have rather kept him for another year and take the 25 million hit as he is so good,

the raver

1.) 12 Jul 2019 23:16:38
Seems we’re potentially going through a cycle of giving up/ selling a lot of experience and acquiring some highly touted younger players, I can’t help but recall the quote I believe by Mourinho “You can’t win anything with kids” or words to that effect.

2.) 13 Jul 2019 13:00:11
Alan Hansen’s comments they were Yellow

I feel we’re being a little slow, however the only thing is that there hasn’t actually been many signings to date.

That what I’m telling myself anyway

I agree raver I’d keep Toby all day long, I’m surprised clubs aren’t queuing up if I’m honest. Strange one for me that.

{Ed002's Note - Like the Simpons.}

3.) 15 Jul 2019 21:19:25
we should be doing everything we can to keep toby at spurs, one of the best centre backs in the world, the story linking him to roma is very hard to belive as they have a lower pay structure than we do and are a much lesser team than us. we seem to be taking an age again to get things done, the danni cabellos deal is a no brainer even if we use ericksen as part of the deal. we should be moving players like lemela, wanyama, tripper, lorente on asap to make room for new players. coys get things done.

4.) 15 Jul 2019 22:02:48
The Roma offer to Toby is apparently for slightly less money but for 4 years, taking him to 34. I can’t see us offering a contract for that long, which is why I also can’t see us going for Alves.

Not sure Ceballos wants to leave RM or that Perez is willing to sanction the sale, I’d bet Levy wants to offload Eriksen in any deal with RM, but Zidane apparently doesn’t want Eriksen.

My biggest fear is both Toby and Eriksen walk away for free next summer or they get heavily discounted in January.

5.) 16 Jul 2019 10:46:07
Couldn't agree more Stevie. I have a different perspective about our team when he's out there. don't care if he's still with us at 34. Great players age differently. SIGN HIM UP.

04 Jun 2019 13:11:31
So our first signings this season will be seagsson and Clarke 2 championship players who will not take us to the next level, I give up with the dross signings or non signings every summer, I might ask a few boys down the dog and gun do they fancy a trial for spurs as I know levy will be interested as they will come cheap, a few crates of lager and fags and they are yours.

the raver

1.) 04 Jun 2019 19:54:59
If that’s going to be it, which I doubt, Poch and half the team will be gone before September and leave Levy to tidy up his mess. Be the best facilities in the Championship in 20/ 21.

2.) 04 Jun 2019 21:40:25
Raver, you seem to be a glass istotally empty type of guy!

3.) 05 Jun 2019 11:16:12
I'm a Jekyll and Hyde type of character mate, when spurs are playing and letting me down I'm a manic depressive, when I'm in stringfellows off my nut with birds chasing me I'm happy as Larry😁.

4.) 05 Jun 2019 12:15:11
You must spend a lot of time depressed ;)

5.) 05 Jun 2019 13:19:25
Lol true yellow card, this is my happy period summer months with no spurs matches till August😎.

6.) 05 Jun 2019 19:08:36
Just our transfer non-activity to get depressed about. Hopefully Levy feels he has made you suffer enough raver, and can find the bottom of his pockets for a few quality additions.

20 Nov 2019 09:38:45
Absolutely delighted, boys wake up the man is a serial winner, how many managers out there have a cv like his. Do you want Eddie Howe or a man who has won 3 European cups with 3 different clubs.

the raver

1.) 20 Nov 2019 10:13:45
How did that work out at United? And how will it end 2 1/ 2 seasons from now at most.

I hope you’re right Raver . but I have my doubts.

2.) 20 Nov 2019 12:39:31
How much money has he spent to get a CV like that raver.
He's not renowned for bringing in young players

Having said that. Let's see what he can do.
He's 1st task will be get us into the top 4.

I agree about Eddie Howe raver. I wouldn't want him. that's a step backwards IMO

Anyway - Up the spurs.

3.) 20 Nov 2019 15:01:47
This is going to end in tears, I can feel it.
9 points off top 4, with Leicester and Chelsea both playing well, City and Liverpool duking it out for top spot. Can't see top 4 being attainable for you guys.

Mourinho will likely get you 5th, then he'll throw a hissy fit in the summer when Levy refuses to give him an extortionate amount of money to spend.

4.) 20 Nov 2019 15:33:03
Mourinho career has gone backwards, talk about a fall from grace, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Man U and now spurs 😂🤣😂.

5.) 20 Nov 2019 17:06:29
A little bit like your football club Oddbod.

Top 4 champions league, top 4 champions league. Ooohhh hold up. Europa League.

6.) 20 Nov 2019 18:58:53
Your team likes to play attacking football, your chairman is careful with the cash, what could possibly go wrong? He’s a man from the past, a very silly appointment.

7.) 20 Nov 2019 19:52:24
AJH Couldn’t agree more . the only worse appointment we could have made would be Unai Emery.

{Ed047's Note - or OGS Yellow Card

8.) 20 Nov 2019 20:35:42
Yellow one thing is for sure. He’ll definitely have a point to prove. He’ll want to silence all them critics. Which can only be a plus.

The football will definitely change along that journey. Will he bring silverware? his cv would suggest so.
Time will tell I guess. He’ll certainly have a presence.

Or you can hear it now. West Ham fans singing “you’re getting sacked in the morning” 😂😂😂

“ you’re not special anymore”.

9.) 20 Nov 2019 20:35:56
Wodbod sounds jealous that spurs have signed the special one while st Arsenal they are stuck with unai emmoroids🤣😂🤣.

10.) 20 Nov 2019 21:13:49
DR - I don’t expect José (nor Levy) to have changed . so I’d agree with all you said.

Silverware . Carabo cup most likely, maybe FA Cup and the Thursday night cup before it goes bad. Qualifying for CL next season would have to go down as success based on how far behind the Top 4 we currently are.

Given that José is usually in and out in under 3 full seasons I don’t see the finances being there for a serious run at the PL, our defense needs to be rebuilt from scratch. Though if José implements his usual “ sit back and counter attack” philosophy maybe he can get another year or 2 out of Verts and Toby if they stay and don’t have to cover so much ground through a high press, they were never the fastest and they’re getting slower.

I have to admit the January transfer window will be a lot more interesting now . I don’t imagine Eriksen or Rose having voiced desire to leave will be feeling to comfortable.

11.) 20 Nov 2019 23:53:24
Great appointment. You will win a trophy. Worry about 3 years from now in 3 years enjoy the ride. Embrace jose and you will get the best from him.
Btw poch spent 430m jose didn't spent that at United.
He will leave on a sour note but you will win before that happens.
Best of luck.

12.) 21 Nov 2019 06:47:49
Raver, I’m so glad you got Mourinho and sacked Poch. Ask any Man U fan who they would rather have and that says it all. The last time you played against Mourinho at Old Trafford your fans were singing “your not special anymore” and now you are calling him the special one 🤣😂😂.

13.) 21 Nov 2019 14:20:02
Oddbod, He's inheriting a better squad at Spurs than he did at UTD, He'll also have a point to prove. He would have also leaned lessons.

You watch, We'll be over taking you very soon.

14.) 21 Nov 2019 18:04:52
So why hasn’t your squad preformed this year then?

15.) 22 Nov 2019 01:54:22
Can’t claim overtaking Arsenal as success.

{Ed047's Note - clearly you all have done which when you look at how pathetic Arsenal have been for the last five years minimum is zero to shout about.

Big clubs win trophies mate. A shiny new stadium and training ground counts for zip if you don’t put silverware on the table.

16.) 22 Nov 2019 11:11:36
Ed047 - no argument from me about the need to win trophies.

Makes me wonder if Jose’s appointment is a tactical move towards ENIC selling the club . everything else in place, training facilities and stadium . now need some silverware to complete the package.

{Ed047's Note - who knows mate and I hear Mourinho has said you can win the league next season which like you say would complete the package.

Even as a gooner I think it would be great for you to achieve that with everything else you’ve done over the last few years.

19 Nov 2019 19:56:36
The failure has left the building and the raver loves it, let's get serial winner alegri or mourinho to awake the spurs and take us to the next level,

the raver

1.) 19 Nov 2019 21:00:53
I think Mourinho will be there this week. Then they’ll all sign new contracts.

Shame for Poch. He certainly entertained me, we played some great football. Won great googly mooglies I might add. We’ve had our ups and downs raver that’s why we love the game.

We need to make CL now. I’m really unsure about Mourinho’s style of football.

2.) 19 Nov 2019 21:10:59
Crazy decision for me. Poch has massively over achieved until this season and has been fantastic for you lot. He hasn't had the budget to spend and has brought some good youngsters through but still played attacking football.
A Mourinho type manager will bore out of you and would fight with Levy for cash to spend.

3.) 19 Nov 2019 21:46:54
Champions League final. what a failure Poch was. (jeez get real)
Mourinho REALLY?
He needs a lot of cash on the table and I don't believe Levy will do that (which is why he has had to sack Poch. )
BIG Backwards step today.

4.) 19 Nov 2019 21:22:35
And if you don’t get either of them raver?

5.) 19 Nov 2019 21:41:09
Ridiculous decision and more so the timing!
Allegri if push comes to shove 👍.

6.) 19 Nov 2019 22:12:45
I don’t think you had a choice.

I think it’s likely that Utd, Arsenal, maybe Real Madrid and poor old West Ham will all sack there managers soon. This way you get first dibs.

I guess Jose will be favourite (very marmite manager) but I have a feeling it will be Rafa or Howe.

7.) 20 Nov 2019 02:48:02
Late night reports suggest Raver has his wish and Jose has accepted the job.

For myself I think it’s a big mistake. we’ll be in a bigger mess in 2 to 3 years, assuming Mourinho lasts beyond next summer. Which once he demands money for transfers and Levy says no I suspect it will end badly.

06 Nov 2019 22:22:08
Well done spurs tonight on that fantasic victory, I keep hoping a good win like tonight will turn a corner but always back to square one come the premier league on weekends, I see wodbods Arsenal had another fantasic performance against Portuguese minnows 🤣😂🤣 that's why you play Thursday night mate.

the raver

1.) 06 Nov 2019 23:49:23
That’s coming from 11th place spurs, how embarrassing, 😂🤣😂.

2.) 07 Nov 2019 10:18:42
Job done for the night, unlike some teams in a second tier competition.

If Lo Celso and Ndombele stay fit I’d make them starters from here out, Eriksen can go do one, I wouldn’t even put him on the bench, let Skipp get the experience.

The team needs to be retooled, Poch needs to bite the bullet and get on with it.

3.) 07 Nov 2019 14:31:17
Agreed Yellow, I was impressed with them 2 last night.
Foyth also done OK. Obviously the opposition wasn't exactly premier league standard.
Maybe Europa League Standard.

4.) 07 Nov 2019 17:33:37
Also yellow, I’ve been impressed with the keeper. keep Loris on the bench IMO.

5.) 07 Nov 2019 19:56:05
DR - based on what we’ve seen I agree. His distribution is better than Hugo, who has never been great at that.

Plus I think Gazzaniga protects his near post better . now watch one slip inside at the weekend.

30 Oct 2019 22:34:38
That Liverpool C team looked very good tonight 🤣😂🤣.

the raver

1.) 31 Oct 2019 19:05:32
It’s because Xhaka wasn’t playing Raver. 😂.

2.) 31 Oct 2019 20:52:11
Luckily for Liverpool they weren’t playing Colchester or they’d never have pulled back from going behind.

3.) 02 Nov 2019 08:36:52
Milner plays for Liverpool c team now apparently 😂🤣.

4.) 02 Nov 2019 15:53:47
Raver laughing at Arsenal B losing to Liverpool B at Anfield yet spurs got knock out the competition by 4th division Colchester with half of spurs first team playing 😂🤣😂.

27 Oct 2019 19:38:15
Another bottle performance from this pathetic club, rose and Aurier are the worst fullbacks in the league yet get picked by the failure pochetinho every week, not long now until he gets fired and then things might improve.

the raver

1.) 27 Oct 2019 20:56:03
The only suprise is it was only 2-1 but for Gazzaniga.

When Poch keeps playing Aurier and Eriksen we’re in trouble . add Rose and Dele to the mix on current form we’re going to struggle against just about every other team in PL. 7 against 11 is not a winning philosophy.

We all knew our full backs were a problem before we sold Trippier. Bottom half of the table now, not sure what rabbits Poch has got up his sleeve . but he better start producing them fast.

2.) 27 Oct 2019 20:55:48
C’mon Raver, you’re up and down like a tarts knickers.
Unfortunately, our season starts now!
The situation is by no means lost and tbh we’ve played our hardest three games already!
Chin up, 3 points at Woodison on Sunday 👍.

3.) 28 Oct 2019 07:43:54
Whistle, it’s the manner of how we’re losing. Poch is making some serious selection errors.
Deli Ali has been non existent now for some time and shouldn’t even make the bench from what I’ve seen. Aurier has been shocking since he put pen to paper.
I don’t rate Sanchez, Eriksen doesn’t want to be there. (So why play him) these are bad managerial decisions.

To add, Poch seems to react to late when changes are needed.
Having said all this I like Poch, but he’s not doing himself any favours with some of his team selections

Ask yourself this. Do Spurs have a real leader in the team. You never see any players shouting and giving orders in a Spurs shirt. It’s all to comfortable.

{Ed047's Note - it’s a shame that when everything should be going right it all appears to be going wrong

4.) 28 Oct 2019 10:14:00
Why start Dele over Lucas? Lucas needs a run of games, he’s shown he is capable, but 5-10 minutes here and there in the PL is no way to get up to speed.

Eriksen over Ndombele, another strange decision. I know not exactly like for like, but I’d rather see 11 players that want to wear the shirt given a chance.

We haven’t had an on field leader in a long time. I’m actual starting to wonder how low we’re going to sink - our entire starting back line needs replacing. The drop off by Verts and Toby has been startling, I assume due to contracts or loss of believe in Poch.

We may have played 3 of our hardest matches, but we also played 3 of what should be easier, Brighton, Newcastle and Watford, matches and managed to steal 1 point.
