I'm really annoyed we didn't try for Lukaku. He's too good for Everton and probably us but we at least could have offered him more money and better players to play with! Gutted.

J you have just taken the words out of my mouth I came on here to write a similar thing.
Everton are known not to spend big money, however bill k has backed his manager and are ready to stump up 24 million pounds for lukaku.
My guess is we have made an offer of 2 million with holtby going the other way. A levy offer

We paid the same amount for a 28 year old that can only score from the spot. Sorry I dnt buy the fact we never used saldado to his strengths the boy is shyt lukaku IMO is better and will get better

I'm reading all these lukaku and griezman comments and people moaning that we didn't sign them. Now how do we know we didn't attempt to sign them? How do we know they just didn't want to come to us? I read some of these comments and it as though some of you expect every player available wants to join spurs. We may have tried for these players. Sometimes Levy penny pinches and sometimes they might if just not been interested but most of the time, it's all just media BS.

I doubt any of you will agree, but I think Everton have a better first 11 than spurs at this moment in time. I also think they have a better manager.
