Great news on mopo signing a new contract. It's been so refreshing watching this Tottenham team this season. One player who hasn't got the credit he deserves is dembele. He's been so influential for us this season and because it's not flashy it has gone unnoticed. He is like a brand new player under Poch and apparently going by stats he is the best box to box midfielder across the big 5 leagues. Huge achievement! Thanks for all your input this season eds. Also thanks to the Raver and NE and the Arsenal lads for keeping me entertained!

I agree on dembele. He has pushed Toby for player of the season in my view.
I read an interesting stat the other day. Since October.

With Dembele. P23 W15 D8 L0
Without Dembele P8 W1 D3 L4
Says it all really. He missed all our home defeats and was deputised by mason and Carroll in those 8 games. Just shows that our squad is not quite deep enough and we are only a couple of very good signings away from challenging consistently.

Thanks Ryan, I also agree with you about dembele he has been a beast this season and his a massive miss when he does not play. It feels like the end of university when I won't be hearing from you boys till August. But watch out for the raver flying the spurs flags at Glastonbury, reading etc this summer.

Good stuff 1988. Looking forward to next season, we should all be proud of the teams progression. Hopefully a new era for the club after years of constant changes in management. We still had a few games this season that cost us points especially at the start of the season, there does appear to be a change in culture and belief at the club mid to end of season.

I believe MoPo will make (need to) some astute additions in the summer for us to cover the required positions, Kane, Dembele, if missed this season it showed.
