Raver come and have a chat and tell us all about your European history, quick before the memories fade. Still at least one team from north London is still in. 85,000 disappointed fans tut tut.

There really is only one English club with a European history to be talking about, right? And even they did most of that back in the 70s / 80s and then one piece of exciting good fortune in 2005. Others? Can't really say much history. The Gunners fans seem to think "qualification for later stages" denotes history to be signing about - well that is a sign of a group happy not to be th very best. Similar applies to their prem positioning mindset. Any fan really ought only want success - Winning something - and relatively regularly. That creates and denotes a history worth talking about!

The Bubble great post, Give it a few weeks when Arsenal lose 3 on the spin they'll all be protesting to get Arsene out. Then if they come above Spurs they'll all be happy as if they've won the league, just goes to show their ambitions.
Arsenal will be no nearer to winning the Champions League than Spurs they're only in it to make the numbers up like every year. Still they're happy with that.

Burst the bubble, there's a bloke living near me who is a massive Arsenal fan. He owns a scrap metal firm and every may for years he puts up Arsenal flags, scarfs etc all over the place, so one day one of the blokes asked why so are you celebrating with all the bunting and stuff, is reply was we have qualified for the champions league sums them up.

Agree Steve, my wife said actually the same thing as you. He does it especially for me and I bite at him everytime. It's a wonder I haven't put him into st. Thomas hospital yet especially with those iron bars lying around his scrapyard.
