Hi Eds,

Any update on Tielemans? Is it now between Chelsea and us or is there possibility of him staying in Anderlecht?

Any update on other targets Spurs are looking to bring in this window?

Thanks very much Eds, I'm kinda relieved its not to do with Levy (as i'm a fan unlike many) . I don't need details but how do you think the considerable problems will affect the club? Is it only in terms of transfers?

N'KouDou is rubbish compared to Youri Tielemans, we already have Eriksen, Lamela, Chadli, Alli, Dier, Wanyama, Dembele, Mason, Bentaleb, N'Jie, Carroll, Onomad, Edwards and other youth players on the verge of the squad. Buying average players like N'KouDou will never help us this season, Drinkwater and players like that would be better if we need to pad the squad with dependable players.

Oracle - do you therefore expect all those named players to remain, in particular Chadli, Bentaleb, NJie and Carroll? All of whom, if rumors are correct, have been linked with moves away and would need replacements.

Yellow-Card I believe we will lose a couple of those quoted, but they are simply ineffective anyway. I was trying to say that it is pointless bringing in average talent as the club looks to cement its place in the Champions League. Tielemans could challenge existing players and get frost team action, none of those linked or quoted above can.

I think it is easy from our armchairs to blame the club and chairman, and it appears Levy is getting too involved, but he has done some great things for our club. N'Koudou looks ok and a gamble probably worth having, but we need big players who can take us up a level.

We could have got Januzaj on loan who is an amazing talent. Phil Jones at 24 brings experience and cover and is clearly surplus to requirement. Mata was possible pre season with a big enough offer, Memphis Depay is now a sidelines player with amazing talent. There are enough options here if we look for proven talent, we just seem reluctant to step up a level.

Stuff of dreams and nightmares Oracle. Phil Jones is not good enough . Mata would destroy our wage structure, but as I stated on here before, Mourinhos issue with him is apparently his lack of desire to get back when the ball is turned over. In that case MoPo is unlikely to want him. , Depay And Januzaj would be interesting if they fit into wage structure.

Oracle - on our reluctance to step up a level I agree with you. But, the challenge in a business like football is that spending 50m on someone guarantees nothing and my sense is that Levy is not a risk taker, compounded by the poor return from the "investments" made by the Bale money.

Levy is first a businessman and second a fan our team, and may not even be a true fan just a vested investment partner.
