Liverpool fan here.
I watched the game yesterday and I'm very confused why you're all going against Sherwood? Personally I think he can be a very good manager while he's also very down to earth.
He played walker out of his normal position but did hazard actually do anything most of that game? Apart from the two at the start Chelsea did nothing and spurs could of easily got 1-0 or 0-0 would you have been moaning then?
You lost 4-0 due to a slip, a unfair penalty and red card, a slip, and a ridiculous back header so that's Sherwood's fault how?. I watched his post match interview and he says it how it is. Your team even after 1-0 down just gave up which is a lack of character.
Not only that personally I think your back line is shockingly bad but you've still kept quite a few clean sheets. It's only your lack of strike force that's actually letting you down. Which AVB couldn't do either.
Let's be fair your still In the top 4 race if you beat us or arsenal but you wouldn't deserve it at all. Which you guys couldn't even deny it's been a very poor season from spurs and god knows how you're still where you are
1.) I personally agree with Tim. I'm on his side.
The problem I have is that he said it in front of the cameras. I feel that it should have been a conversation behind closed doors strictly between the manager and his players.
But, what he said was 100% honest, true and you can tell he was personally hurt by the result.
It seems our players have a tendency to lose big, had we lost that game 1-0 I wouldn't have been so disappointed, but for Spurs to gift them 4 goals is simply not good enough. I think AVB ultimately lost his job because of the hammerings to Liverpool and City.
I believe we'll finish 5th this year. The only problem is that the top 4 are simply playing at a much higher level than us, Everton and United. It's as simple as that.
We're not having a bad season. Just the teams above us are have better seasons in comparison.
2.) Dave, with our matches coming up, I think it will be 6th or 7th . This might be a good thing though as it means we won't have to play in the Europa league next year!

3.) RedTwist, we are playing shocking and have been lucky to win a lot of our wins due to playing very poorly. Liverpool are playing out of their skins and have a good structure in place while we look all over the place. I believe we have a superior squad but that will change if you get Cl.
If we don't get top four, very likely, I hope we finish 7th and avoid the Europa League.

You can say we beat you that bad because you are awful (you are) but when we have the second highest goal scoring talley in the league and are second in the league you have nothing. Again the difference is if we lose suarez we still have a quality team. You didn't as you bought a bunch of flops. If we are so poor we wouldn't be second in the league this far along!
Mate you are so deluded it's unreal. Our team outplayed you not just suarez. We played the first 5 games without him and were above you. We now have sturridge and Gerard injured we beat you 5-0 easily. Tottenham are awful. You're where you are by lucky penalties look at our goal difference to yours?
Unlucky mate don't worry you can battle out with United for 7th place if that!
Not too sure if that is a dig at Henderson but he has proved he's a quality player and more so today. Not only that but you got dominated by our whole team spurs are terrible.
