3rd bid for Berahino rejected, confirmation from Matt Le Tiss that an offer for Wanyama went in weeks ago however it was LESS than what Southampton paid Celtic so was laughed at, no Wisel as interest came to late to find replacement and anyone that comes in now will be way down the list of true targets and certainly not progress. Absolute joke!!

IT IS TIME FOR ALL FANS TO MAKE THEMSELVES HEARD!! LEVY OUT!!

Get your banners ready for the next game and make your voice heard, enough is enough!!

Seriously, 4 games in.

2.) 01 Sep 2015 16:59:18
Laughable comments get a grip

3.) 01 Sep 2015 17:20:23
You may say that Spurs1985 and Northeast but we are bang in trouble this season! No backup striker is a serious problem and I'm praying that Son and Njie can bring some seriously needed creativity and goals.

Let's be brutally honest in saying that a nett spend over the previous 5 seasons of 11plus million in Enics favours makes us just what we are! Perennial underachievers!

4.) 01 Sep 2015 17:26:28
What's four games got to do with it?? I'm not shouting for poch's head am I?? As it stands Northeast Spur we are going into the season with 1 out and out striker!! Hey we can get away with 4 games with 1 striker but correct me if I'm wrong the season has a few more games to come not to mention a few small cup competitions we are in, so anyone thinking the squad is healthy and can cope with the season to come plus achieve our target which surely has to be top 4 must be smoking crack!!

The position we find ourselves in is completely down to Levy and it's not the first time we have had a disaster transfer window, Levy is prolific!!

Hey each to there own Northern Spur, any Spurs fan who thinks my words are wrong and you are happy with our situation I wish you well. I respect anyone's opinion whether I agree or not, I'm a season ticket holder and spend thousands a season to watch Spurs home and away and I DO NOT AGREE with how our club have performed in this transfer window, it is a complete joke!!

Harry Kane has barley had a rest this summer due to the under 21's, let's hope he stays fit ah! I can grantee 2 things Levy and Lewis bank accounts will keep swelling and we can forget about top 4, yes 4 games in.

5.) 01 Sep 2015 17:41:22
I would personally play Ade in all the European games, along with most of the fringe players.

6.) 01 Sep 2015 18:22:23
S.T.I.D although you make good points your comments are still laughable. Just because you CHOOSE to spends thousands doesn't mean the club have to make it so you agree with the business done. It still amuses me how fans bang on about how much they spend as if it has anything to do with it.

7.) 01 Sep 2015 20:50:14
I've stuck up for Levy for years but now I've had enough. They have had all summer to negotiate any deals and have once again let us down.

I appreciate transfers can be hard to finalise, and the wba Chairman is an ass, but it's becoming a regular occurrence now and it ain't acceptable.

Spurs85 I don't see your point. No one forces us to spend the money but if we didn't the club would have less money. T

8.) 01 Sep 2015 20:29:05
1985. And your thoughts on one out and out striker? Any defence of that I would suggest is laughable and there is nothing anyone can say which doesn't lead back to the source of the problem, our chairman.

The point re spending money on your team is simlple and is directly linked to the emotion you have no doubt picked up in my post thus is completely relevant. Yes it's a choice and I'm sure you would like 35,000 little Fonzes like yourself paying there money and say heeeey man it's all good. The reality is I ain't cool, I do chose to spend a lot of money on the team I love and yes I have an opinion which happens to be it is ridiculous for Spurs to be in this position with the striker situation. Ba dum dum chsssshhh

Northern Spur U accept your comments re adebeyor, however what message do you think bringing him back into the changing room after his exile with the kids sends out? Why was he exiled in the first place and secondly what position has levy put his manager in by potentially having to try to intergrate him back in with the team? Lastly what do you think the so called stars are thinking ala Lloris after this whole fiasco?

As I said it's all about opinions, mine is simple I have had enough of our ridiculous transfer policy and would like a change! It's not about spending money, it's about securing realistic targets and moving forward. Yep securing champions league football! No chance with the current squad balance and If at the end of the season I am proved wrong I will gladly eat humble pie

9.) 01 Sep 2015 20:37:25
S.T.I.D, get a life. Your comments and posts are a joke.

You bleat on about 'get levy out', banners etc what football chairman experience do you have? I'll gues at NONE!

Your a fan, like myself, Spurs1985 and most other people on this site, you have an opinion too, like all other fans on this site.

My comment was in reflection to your over the top nonsense post, 4 games in and your bleating on about banners, Levy out ect.

Do you remember the previous chairmen we have had? You clearly do not actually realise how well our club is ran?

Get real and start acting like a true football fan.

We need some continuity at the club and a manager for a sustained period to 'build' a team within a realistic time frame.

After all, Rome wasn't built in a day.

Northeast Spur WTF does my chairman experience have anything to do with my post? To be clear I don't want the Job matey ;)

I have noticed you haven't given your thoughts on the striker shortage other than bring Adebeyour back, I would suggest your managerial experience is up there with my running Spurs.

Act like a real football fan, come on man let's not be silly!

Fair enough you don't want levy out, like I said I respect all fans opinions but it's not mine. I take your point re where the club has come from and financially the club is on a sound footing due to Levy but I think I made the point that in my option we have come as far as we can under levy. The main point is the circus around our transfer policy of which levy is central and I feel it's finally caught up with him. Going back to my second post what has 4 games got to do with it? This runs a little longer than that, try a few season, managers, transfer disasters, oh and the wonder that is Baldini!

My intention Northeast Spur was not to get a rise out of you and think you have taken it a little personally. I agree with you that the club needs continuity and once again have I said get poch out?? Nope I am fully behind him but answer me this why haven't we had continuity at our club, scrap that I will answer it. Because our of our chairman, after all he hires and fires doesn't he?

Ok so banners and protests seem a little extreme, maybe it is but one thing is for sure I feel It's time for a change at the top and make no apologies for that. Let's park this, leave the little jibes for the playground and see how things go over the coming months. Fingers crossed no injuries to Harry, let's hope Njie and Son do the business and you can tell me you told me so after Christmas! I'm normally in a good mood that time of year.

11.) 02 Sep 2015 15:06:37
Hear hear 👍🏻

12.) 02 Sep 2015 17:27:47
Ps be careful what you wish for. Leeds United!

However my point relating to Chairman experience is quite that, we have not stood in that position within a club of ours size, so therefore do not know the complete business plan involved with transfer, stadium, training ground etc etc.

However, I hope that we develop in an organic manner. We have a safe Owner and Chairman unlike others, that stand is in a fantastic secure position. I do agre with the manager merry go round that we have had in the past 10 or so years and wish that we had had more stability in that position.

We can only hope that our teams potential finds its level, as I think we have also bought so many players over the last 10 years with 'potential' that have also under delivered.

I agree but if you put your Mitch hat on I can't imagine the pressure of having to find the next Payet or Alli along with managing the higher expectations at a club like Spurs every time you dip into the transfer market. Throw into that Levy and his notorious way of negotiating plus the fact we are not really prepared to spend money and the job isn't quite so appealing.

Why would he chose to leave? We have champions league football, Spurs are really the next in line for players wanting to come outside the traditional big four, we now have a reputation for giving young talent a change to develope, really good harmony with in young squad, were in London etc. Surely all the ingredients are there to attract the next Payet, Alli etc yet Mitch chucks the towel in for Leicester or Liverpool possibly if the rumours are to be believed. All roads lead to Levy for me!

Listen this isn't doom and gloom as we finished 3rd last term and have kept the squad together but let's be honest we have struggled this window, it's seems the N'koudou deal has collapsed now, a deal which had the majority of us asking is this lad a player? In short could be the next Payet or Alli but a gamble yet couldn't get this prospect over the line! We need to upgrade Chadli, Benteleb, Carroll and Mason this window to push on and for that need to spend a little cash to achieve this, not necessarily silly money just get the deals done so that poch has what he needs.

On another note roll on Saturday! Football is back 😀.

Come on guys it's pretty obvious to me. All logic points to them having enough of our chairman! Look at the money being thrown around at the moment, I'm not saying it's the right thing to do but still look at the spend and then look at our activity.

Hate this predictive spelling!! That's Trippier in for Walker obviously although a stripper may just liven things up :)

Also chadli would be bombed if Njie was fit!

Eriksen and Dembele are injured according to reports, not sure if Njie is fit either but could be wrong. With that in mind I think the team will be.

WALKER ALDERWELD VERT ROSE
DIER BENTELEB
MASON
SON CHADLI
KANE

I personally would swap walker and BENTELEB for stripper and alli plus if Njie is fit then CHADLI would be homes!!

Must get 3 points tomorrow boys!! COYS

Ok fair enough Ed002 and to me seems obvious but certainly not what's being suggested in a couple of tabloid reports.

S.T.I.D

{Ed002's Note - Then they are incorrect.}

Hi Ed002, what whatever the sell on fee is or the remainder of the 30m in full? If it's the remainder of the 30m then the story which I'm reading is total none sense as its claiming Spurs may not actually have to pay 30mil for him?

I can't believe we have paid 30m for him, the fee is undisclosed which is strange as if it was a 30m take it or leave it why would the fee not be transparent?

Anyway Sissoko better put a shift in like he does for France! If he does he will be a decent addition as we have looked like we lack a little pace in the first games.

S.T.I.D

{Ed002's Note - The whole lot of course. Spurs have to pay the full transfer fee to buy the player.}

Ive just been reading this but who gets the sell on fee in this instance? If we sell him after 3 years the transfer fee becomes 18m but do we get the sell on fee or does this go to Newcastle in which case doesn't that make it potentially a long term loan? Seems strange to me, if we get the sell on then I'm happy with that deal!

S.T.I.D

{Ed002's Note - If Spurs sell him on they still owe the money to Newcastle.}

Don't hold you breath Ryan1988, expect the young goalkeeper to sign and that's our lot me thinks! Same old, same old and couldn't agree more about the squad depth.

I'm glad we ain't blowing 30m on Sissoko, although let's be honest we were never in danger of spending 30m on any player! In fairness it's been a crazy transfer window with prices seemigly reaching insanity levels. That said the market is the market and if you take the Mane transfer fee as an example many bulked at the fee but for me it actually looks like good business!

We are still decent and if we get lucky with injuries we will be just fine. COYS.

Come on guys Spurs were by far the better side end of! I couldn't believe it when we went a goal down, totally against the run of play! Second half we came back and deserved the lead but fair play to the arsenal they dug in and got the draw! We should have won this game end of.

S.T.I.D

{Ed025's Note - nothing in it for me mate..fair result..
