Ed's any truth in the rumours about julian green? For me he's going to be something special in the next few years!, however right now he's not what we need, we need proven quality. So on to my next question, who are we REALLY after first team wise? Cheers eds
{Ed002's Note - Bayern Munich are not looking to sell Julian Green and I am not aware of interest from Spurs.
These are the players that Spurs have shown some level of interest in over recent months. Most predate the change of manager but were from a time when the club knew that Tim Sherwood would be moving on:
LB: Kolasinac, Radu, Bertrand, Cuadrado (but Barcelona are looking to replace Alves with him), Moreno
CB: Lovren, Caulker, Mangolas, Hecotor Moreno, Savic
MF: Dzemaili, Aaron Hunt, Lallana (if Lamela is sold), Sadio Mané (interest might well have gone), Onazi, Pjanic (really, really unlikely), Fischer (really, really unlikely).
FW: Lacazette, Morata, Emenike, Jay Rodriguez (if he can prove his fitness), Konoplyanka, Muniain, Lukaku (unlikely), Hernandez (but there is significant interest from elsewhere), Jackson Martinez (very unlikely), Heung Min Son, perhaps Remy.}

Poch and levy are playing this window very cleverly imo (never thought i'd say that about levy lol) bringing in alderweireld is a quality signing and getting rid of the deadwood quickly, personally now I think we just need rid of ade and soldado and bring in a few cf's hearing about a bid of around 15 mil for berahino, any truth in it eds? Apart from that I don't think we need any more just look at our young players still to come into the first team. Carter-vickers, alli, onomah, veljkovic, pritchard, yedlin and that's just a few off the top of my head, the future looks very bright!

Really? Alderweireld good player, got lucky because Atletico wanted rid. A relegated RB and a CB that had one decent season in the Bundesliga are typical cheap Levy gambles. When you look at the squad the lack of quality is alarming. Bentaleb and Mason as our starting DMs, they're both Championship level. Townsend Championship, however big an improvement on last season Danny Rose at best is a relegation battle level Lb, he will be starting in August. Tom Carroll never going to make it Championship level again. The kids mentioned above are they PL level? are they capable of starting at Old Trafford? no chance unless we want a real whipping on the first day. Newcastle, Liverpool and West Ham are spending whilst we stagnate. This is going to be a long hard season, and it could well be the one where it all falls apart. Levy can build a stadium but if he thinks 61000 are going to turn up to watch the likes of Rose, Mason, Bentaleb and Townsend play less than mid table football then he really is in cloud cukkoo land.

Alderweireld was a big part of one of the strongest defences in the league last year, not really getting lucky, levy was clever knew he had a buy out and offered more than saints did, as for the other players you have said bentaleb and mason are good young players that are improving every game, 61000 will easily be filled have you not seen the season ticket waiting list, no matter who plays i'll always turn out to support my team! I believe every single one of the players I mentioned will be top top quality, have abit of belief in your team man!

As people are throwing michu's name in the hat i'm going to go abit left field here but I'd prefer callum wilson from Bournemouth, young direct quick gets in behind knows were the net is, so much more potential, for me the perfect type of player to partner kane! Like I say maybe abit left field for some but let me know your thoughts either way
also eds any news on where konoplyanka will end up i'd be gutted if we missed out, he's there to be snapped up for free HURRY UP LEVY!

West Ham might be the favourites though as they are trying to clear wage space and get rid of some wide players to get him in. Hence the Downing back to Boro rumours, after he was offered to Newcastle and Sunderland as well.}

Question for everyone, as it looks like we're looking for a winger (konoplyanka being mentioned quite a bit) who would your choice be (realistically lol)? Personally i'd love for us to get feghouli! Any one agree?

I'll be the first to say it, gutted sandro's gone! He isn't called the beast for nothing! always gave everything yes he had injuries but on his day one of the best defensive midfielders out there in my opinion, you've got to say fair play to arry though he's got yet another deadline day bargain!

Any day of the week davo! Long's a hard working lad loves the game won't sulk on the bench and will just work his socks off to get in the team, complete opposite of berahino imo

I think shane long's a great shout oxspur. Always pressing chasing lost causes basically giving everything for the shirt and that's what I love to see plus he's a decent little goalscorer, would be a good addition to the squad!
