Reports in Russia are saying that we have pipped Liverpool to the signature or Willian (source-Journalist Nobel Arustamyan). Can any one confirm or deny?
1.) Yes sounds like if personal terms can be agreed with Willian which no doubt will happen he will be a Spurs player by weekend
2.) Instead buying players try getting new scouts instead of using liverpool's

Hey ed was wondering about this Van Gaal situation. Now the utd job open is he nailed on to go there or is it still possible for us? Also if he does go to utd any news on who might be considered for our hot seat?

Why do you want our Club to managed by an old man with no experience of the prem who by all accounts is a serious control freak with personality issues who fell out with both his previous clubs and for whom Spurs is not his 1st choice? Is the limit of our desire to have the cast off failures from other clubs i.e AVB, Moyes etc. Its Hiddink or keep TS for me

We have exactly the same points, wins, draws and loses as last season after 13 games. The difference being that this season we have been hit by injuries and suspensions. We have the best back 4 and goalkeeper set up in the league (when fully fit) , and one of the most leathal strikers around. We will be fine!

We knew about these complications when entering negotiations. I'm hearing that we are still confident a deal can be struck as the player is very keen on the move

What do any of you people actually know about Blind? Maybe apart from 7 World Cup games. You all talk as if he is an unbelievable full back, when in reality his preferred and most successfull position is holding midfield but van gaal prefers de Jong in that position in the national squad because of his back 3 set up. Maybe try watching some real life football rather than just posting il informed comments
Foxspur907 mate this is not FIFA, even you're "realistic" options will not happen! I love Tottenham Hotspur but we are under achievers, with no champions league football again, a habit of changing managers and an unwillingness to pay huge wages. Nearly all of the players you mention either have or will go to a club that has CL. I'd personally like to see a couple of strengthening signings. Up front Rodriguez, Lovren at the back, a new left back and maybe a player like Schneiderlin for the middle. Trust some players that have PL experience and know what our league is all about. We cannot afford another bedding in season especially now we have a good young manager and a trigger happy chairman. Are you not ready for a Change of approach yet or do you just want to keep throwing money at European clubs
