Well that's 6pts out of the 2-4 I thought we'd get. A bit lucky Sunday but we battled hard like the opposition and made our chance count. Emphatic today, great result up there regardless of Newcastle's form. Now the acid-test; home to a struggling team and then playing a side who can hardly buy a goal. Those are the two games that were must-win, got to still think of them like that ahead of playing the next pair.

Simmo

March is the key month. We have Chelsea, Arsenal, Southampton and Liverpool in successive matches ( 2 home and 2 away). If we get through these fixtures in good shape, our run-in is relatively easy. I remain hopeful, even though the current top four are all playing better than we are at the moment.

Absolutely, March will decide most fates throughout the league or at least who's going to be involved in what at the business end.
No Europe is helping Liverpool massively, that and having one of the top 5 players in the world. That said, at 3pts ahead of us they're title-contenders apparently and having a great season. We've been in turmoil, have wasted £100m, miss Bale etc.

In that case I'd rather out bad than they're great!

PA - same as @R$3nal, gone out and spent money net, another team having a brilliant season according to all pundits and they're a whopping 5pts up on us.

spurs r playing ok and will prob get top 6 at the moment you might aswell be 4 points behind liverpool goal difference of 30 behind us you have to come to anfield. but if you can't see what a great season liverpool r having than you r blind to the fact 5-0 at your patch city hammered you aswell can't blame people for saying when a good team comes you don't have an answer to them adebayor is playing well but will he go the rest of the season without a muscle injury he usually gets I doubt it, no defoe either good luck with that.

Ok Tommy Irish Red, we'll say Liverpool are having a great season and if that's the case then 4pts is still nothing. Man City were gifted that match, a but like you were. People seem to forget, as awful as we were against you, the game was 2-0 until we went down to 10 men. Against City, they'd had a good 25 mins and were 1-0 up but we were then more than in the game until the ridiculous red-card and penalty (red-card was turned over in record quick time through appeal it was so crazy). We stayed open and Man City helped themselves. Fact is, even in a season of manager change, lots of new players, lots of injuries (like you lot) and not being that great, you're hardly miles ahead of us even playing your best in years.

the big 4 r pulling away now simmo.all this hard luck story you dreamed up there how about the 100m you had to spend in the summer did you get any good players with that r should you have stood up to your main man like we did.
