Poch has taken us from upper mid table to top 4 and CL final - clearly an improvement.

But I got to thinking about his reputation for bringing youngsters along. I look at Sánchez, Foyth, KWP and even Dele - I really don't see any great improvements.

If anything Dele has gone backwards, the other 3 still make mistakes and suffer serious lapses of concentration, making me doubt their suitability as starters for any team that wants to consistently challenge for trophies.

Am I missing something, Winks could be considered the exception and Kane if you want to make a bit of a stretch.

I've said it on here before Yellow card, I'm not so sure if Poch is any good in the transfer market.

Let's have a quick look to name a few

Sanchez - Average
Aurier - Very bad
Janssen - Very bad
Wanyama - Average
Llorente - Very bad
Foyth - Average - I'm being kind here
Fazio - Very bad
Stambouli - Very bad
Wimmer - very bad
Davies - Average

Whether he's had the final say in these signings I don't know.

However - If so the above list is anything to go by it would suggest he cannot spot good talent.

Yep, there’s that too DR.

Which only gets worse if you add GKN and Njie to the list.

The whole network for buying players at spurs has been a joke, most of them are very poor footballers and the rest are always injured.

I see Lo Celso has settled in perfectly, out for 6 weeks injured, and some of you said the loan deal for Ceballos was pointless 😂🤣😂.

I don’t recall anyone saying it was pointless Oddbod.

I do recall a debate about him only being on loan with no purchase option. but continue inventing your own world view . one day you can be President of America.

Yep, well said Yellow, no one said it was pointless Oddbod, but it's nice you admit Ceballos is on loan 😉
And being happy at a rival team's injured players is pretty low 👎.

Oddbod, you're soo desperate. I can smell the relief ouzing out of you.

Ceballos will be pointless if you don't qualify for CL.

So I have just got back from Switzerland where I caught up with an old work colleague of mine, a very successful trader. He also does a blog and is known as The Swiss Rambler. His knowledge on football finances is unbelievable.

He reckons that if Arsenal don't get CL this season and spurs do that it could put Arsenal 10 years behind spurs. Btw he is a Gooner.

Spursguvnor,
How can Arsenal be 10 years behind spurs when you are currently over 10 years behind Arsenal? 🤔 😂🤣😂.

Spursguvnor, was it off him you got your knowledge about the new stadium wouldn’t affect transfers? LOL.

Oddbod, how are we “currently over 10 years behind Arsenal? ”
Give me some facts please that prove your remark 👍
And not opinions.

10 years behind, how is that measured and/ or quantified. it’s meaningless.

Theleft, 5 years because they won some Fa cups a few years back, they beat Lincoln and Sutton and the other 5 years is because they have Rob Holding.

We have paid for our new stadium you are a decade away from paying for yours, look at how many league titles and fa cups you need to catch up with Arsenal.

So Lincoln and Sutton have done better in the fa cup in recent years then spurs, that’s embarrassing 😂🤣.
