Lots of the papers are reporting that we are preparing a 15mil bid for Welbeck. I'm not sure if I have ever heard of a worse deal.

Sean, I would have thought Bentley would have been a better choice. Soldado will come good give him a chance. judge him this season providing he's still at Spurs.

Bentley scored that crackinggoal in the 4-4 draw with Arsenal in in the 2008-2009 season. I reckon that was probably worth about 15mil

Welbeck would be a good signing for us; he has lots of experience, can play central or from wide. Would be a different option to what we have as has more pace than our current strikers.

Happy with this if it happens

A striker for 15mil whose record is worse than 1 in 4 and who is not wanted at a club that have to be considered to have a worse squad that spurs. Doesn't seem great to me especially when we need more goals in the team
